David and I did this on our “date night” at The Boneyard last night.
My max push press was 95# I think. I started with 65# and went up to 95# on my clean and jerk. We did a total of 65 clean & jerks. On some I did a split jerk for practice. I used 55# on the barbell good mornings because it was the first time I have done these. Before and after the strength WOD I did one 105# (a PR) clean & jerk. It took me two attempts to do it before the workout and five attempts after the WOD. And that time it was more of a push press. Video coming soon!
Push Press – worked up to 225# for 2 reps
Clean and Jerk – worked up to 155# for 10 reps, up to 165# for 5 reps, and up to 185# for 3 Reps
And up to 165# on good mornings.
